Why do we not use these same concepts to promote benefit concerts to provide such relief for dwindling shelters, food pantries, and transitional housing that are being shut down due to insufficient government funding? Hunger Aid will H.E.L.P. in the comfort of homeless and low-income families in America by Healing Every Living Person!

The increasing demand for new relief efforts such as Hunger Aid can be shown through statistics provided by H.U.D. and organizations like Feeding America. In 2015, Southern California at its highest state rating out of the five states accounting for half of the nation's total homeless population. California, New York, Florida, Texas, and Georgia, H.U.D. reported "San Diego County" alone had more homeless people than found in many larger metro areas. When the Coved-19 Pandemic hit in early 2020, the number of homeless is growing every day. This is unacceptable!

With proficient evidence provided by H.U.D. and Feeding America, Hunger Aid has a broad forecast of different industries and organizations increasing demand for funding. Using "Major Independents" to produce Hunger Aid events, the following organizations will benefit most from Hunger Aid: (a) Shelters and organizations that provide a safe, warm bed; (b) Transitional housings that have taken on the social responsibility of giving working experience, food, shelter and H.E.L.P. searching for new employment; (c) Food pantries that serve the homeless and low-income families every week.

Build it.

Shelters/Organizations in need of assistance, such as, but not limited to, Veterans Village of San Diego (V.V.S.D.), has reported an average of 30-40 percent of the homeless in San Diego are veterans. V.V.S.D. provides shelter and services to more than 2,000 military veterans and further extends a Continuum of Care with a full range of comprehensive and innovative services for military veterans like Prevention, Intervention, Treatment, and Aftercare. V.V.S.D. routinely exceed the resources at disposal. The San Diego County veterans make up 25 to 35 percent of the homeless in the region. Hunger Aid will establish accounts dedicated explicitly to Shelters, available on request per organization.

The First Baptist Church of North Miami Food Pantry was the first place Joseph Bourgeois sparked Hunger Aid's idea. The first Hunger Aid took place on Sunday, February 23, 2014, at Quapaw Casino & Resort located in Miami, Oklahoma (pronounced "Ma'am Uh").

The statistics provided by H.U.D. and Feeding America have given Hunger Aid the knowledge needed to determine which cities would be impacted the most by the Hunger Aid Foundation and create a ripple across the nation for the need of more Hunger Aid events.
